How Our SMS Messaging Works

Captomi LLC operates an AI-powered virtual receptionist for small trade and service businesses (for example, painting contractors). When a consumer contacts one of these businesses, our assistant replies by SMS on the business's behalf to answer questions, qualify the request, and help schedule appointments or estimates. This page explains how consumers opt in to that messaging. Messaging is two-way and consumer-initiated. We use no purchased or third-party lists and send no unsolicited marketing.

How You Opt In (Two Ways)

  1. You text the business. You send a text message to the business's phone number. Your inbound message is your opt-in and your consent to receive SMS replies.
  2. You call the business. You place a phone call to the business's number, and the business replies by SMS to that call. Your call to the business is your opt-in and your consent to receive SMS replies.

We never message anyone who has not first contacted the business.

What the First Message Looks Like

Here is the opt-in moment. You start the conversation, and the assistant's first reply identifies itself and includes the standard messaging disclosures and opt-out instructions.
